Qualification requirements Necessary Knowledge Solid knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. Strong understanding of safe driving practices and road regulations. Ability to manage vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance in a cost-effective manner. Basic administrative and documentation skills, including driving logs, mileage records, and simple expense-related documents. Computer literacy, including MS Office applications. Ability to support office and project-related tasks beyond driving duties. Good communication skills in Kyrgyz and Russian; basic English is preferred. Necessary educational background (related major) Bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant professional driving experience may substitute for formal education. Required work experience Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience, including long- and short-distance driving for official or business purposes (as an occupation, not personal use) Required certificate Valid Category B or BC driver’s license with a clean driving record Extra required capacity Core Competencies Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality. Interest in humanitarian and development work. Additional Experience Experience managing office vehicles, including maintenance, fueling, washing, and procurement of vehicle- related supplies. Experience working in NGOs, international organizations, or corporate environments is an asset. Duties 1. Safe Transportation Operate organization vehicles safely for official purposes, including business trips, local travel, and guest pick-up/drop-off. Transport equipment, tools, materials, and documents as required. Ensure compliance with traffic laws and organizational safety policies at all times. 2. Vehicle Management & Maintenance Monitor and maintain the drivability of office vehicles through regular and non-regular inspections. Conduct routine checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights, brakes, etc.) to ensure roadworthiness. Arrange and follow up on vehicle repairs and maintenance without unnecessary costs. Manage fueling, car washing, and purchasing of vehicle-related supplies. Ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintain vehicles in good operating condition. Report any vehicle issues or repair needs promptly. 3. Technical & Operational Support Assist in the installation, setup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical equipment or systems when required. Provide operational support to project activities and field work. Support office management tasks, including purchasing and collection/delivery of goods or documents. Assist teams and visitors in a professional and cooperative manner. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate driving logs, mileage records, and related reports. Prepare and maintain documentation related to vehicle operation, maintenance, and vehicle-related expenses. Keep records of trips, deliveries, equipment usage, and service activities. Complete required forms and reports in accordance with organizational procedures. 5. Communication & Compliance Communicate professionally with colleagues, partners, guests, and beneficiaries.
